Uncanny X-Men #17 - MUTINA

This run has been great, but this spin is just insane and I am so for it. Mutina’s first appearance and a new direction for the series in a fun horror twist. This is my top pick for the week and I am grabbing the 1:25 and 1:50 as well. This is the type of thing I wish the big two would take more chances on. Get weird with it and break up the superhero/super villain stuff up.

Star trek Red Shirts #1 - These covers are insane

The premise is one we are all familiar with, but to see a series around it (5 issues)... I am into it. I think the covers alone are worth the mention here though. Likely something most will sleep on, see this flying a bit under the radar. Lower on my list, but worth the spot IMHO. Shalvey also did a wonderful 1:25 ratio.

Marvel Swimsuit Special #1 - Boobs & Bulges

Joe IS one of the most talented creators of our time, and I am going to keep screaming this from roof tops. DO NOT sleep on these #1s, this is a wonderful book, with some insane covers. You will thank me for telling you to buy everything he does. Be in on the ground floor before this man absolutely chads into super stardom!

It’s Jeff: Infinity Paws #1 - Can’t get enough Jeff

Likely not a huge spec play, but Jeff is here to STAY. So any time I see a #1 with his name on it, I will recommend it. Also Chrissie did a cover, so it is an automatic buy for me.
