Nothing crazy rumored that I can find in this, but this has been a superb book so far. Buying a bunch as it’s an early issue and I expect these to hold value over time.
Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1 - It’s Marvel Rivals

I don’t think much more needs to be said, Marvel Rivals is on fire right now. The Momoko covers are the ones of note here, both regular and ratios. The 1:100 is likely the play, curious to see how these all play out longer term.

New Thunderbolts #1 - Hot right now.

The hype is REAL for the Thunderbolts right now and the reveal of the “new avengers”, it would not surprise me to see something special in this and there are a crazy amount of covers. I sense, if the marketing team is sneaky, that there could be some “misprints” for this. I.e. covers with “new thunderbolts” instead of “new avengers”, we will see if they do this. It would not be the first time Marvel did a stunt like this to drive dialogue!
Runaways #1 - Anticipated

This has been very anticipated, so I am grabbing some. Not sure what else to say, it’s a tie in to One World Under Doom and looks to have some spec peeps talking.
Giant Sized Spider-Man #1 - BIG BIG

So this is a HUGE collaboration between Kevin Smith, Al Ewing, Chip Zdarsky, and Mitsuyasu Saki. Why is this important? It is introducing a new character “RAPID” who will have a huge presence in the new Marvel books/universe this year. We have one cover without art, and I am not sure if this will be the first cover for the new character. No ratios for this, which is weird. I have this lower on the list, but still a spec rec as the plans for Rapid do sound substantial.
Eddie Brock: Carnage #5 - Crimson Dynamo

Bring on the bad guys variant, looks like we have Crimson Dynamo here, and rumor is we are getting “King in Crimson” from Al Ewing (been mentioning him A LOT LATELY and that is perfectly ok). Haven’t been following, but this has me intrigued so I am going to grab some (and the trade when it drops).
Transformers #1 12th Print - A bit wild

This might be a reach, but I’ve been grabbing these because we literally cannot keep them on the shelves at the store. This series has actually been amazing, and looks like no end is in sight, so these have potential over time for sure.

This is easily one of my most enjoyed series for the year and I am wildly wanting to see what they do. If you missed any 100% grab a trade. This isn’t a value play, just good damn content I actually recommend to anyone who enjoys comics.

Death of Superman HC - New “Absolute” edition

Grabbing one of each, one to read and then one of the gravestone ones because it’s fun. This was the comic that saved the comic book industry single handedly, and it was a damn good story at that. I kinda wish we didn’t have to reboot, but comics without Superman would be fucking weird!
Giant Sized Dark Phoenix #1 - Spoiler Variant
