Spec for 7-21-25
This is a fun week, but also feels relatively tame given past weeks. So let's dive in!
Absolute Batman #11

I don't know how many of your read issue #10, but HOLY SHIT! We are at major pivotal points here and while 10 dumped an INSANE amount of plot on us, as well as arguably the coolest page spread ever in comics, I believe #11 is going to be equally as big. IF NOT BIGGER!
TMNT: SHREDDER #1

https://www.ecgce.com/products/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-shredder-1-cover-a-santolouco
Ok, here is the BIG one for the week. Shredder #1, with Watters at the typewriter and Bandini doing the doodles THIS IS NOT ONE TO SLEEP ON! Really feel I don't need to say to much here, this is one of the more anticipated titles for the year, and it does look to be truly amazing with such a good team. There are A LOT of good covers, but just linked the A for sake of cleanliness with this post.

Seven Years In Darkness Year 3 #2

https://www.ecgce.com/products/seven-years-in-darkness-year-three-2-cvr-a-joseph-schmalke-david-the-wolf
I don't need to say anything I haven't already, DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS SERIES. Joe is on fire, and this is one of the most underrated comics PERIOD. These have all been pretty limited, and I promise you that one day you will thank me for saying "buy these". This world is massive, and Joes story and art are truly unmatched.
Big Rig #2 Variant Box

https://www.ecgce.com/products/big-rig-2-variant-bundle-box-limited-to-3000-copies-allocations-may-occur-netmr
So this is a unique one, we didn't list the first one because I was unsure how heavy people would order and what we would actually get. However seeing that I don't think a lot of shops are actually ordering these I am going to add this as a possible sleeper.
These are STACKED, and have a potential at a 1:30000 Peach Momoko variant. Why is this important? Post and his entire team have created something just zany and wild. #1 was an absolute trip, like army of darkness with Post's flare. Adrian and Post with Nathan's art has really won me over. It's a bit of a turn your brain off plot, but I think we need more of that.
Just an FYI, there is NO discount on this bundle as we don't get one.
Cemetery Kids: Run Rabid #1

https://www.ecgce.com/products/cemetery-kids-run-rabid-1-of-4-cvr-a-daniel-irizarri
I know some of you listened to me the last time I recommended this (previous run), well look what we have here! The book has been given a new run. While Oni Press has a lot of interesting drama these past few years, they have been on FIRE with bringing adaptations to Netflix and even the big screen. This is a series I would FULLY expect to see land such treatment. While I'd still say nab the first issue of the original run, this is hardly worth scoffing at. The story is absolutely fun and the art is nothing short of amazing.
Personally very excited for this to continue!
Venom: Black White & Blood #1

https://www.ecgce.com/products/venom-black-white-blood-1-peach-momoko-variant
Not a crazy play, but these books have been super fun. I personally think the Peach cover WILL find a secondary market as this might fly under shops radars. Greene and Bagley also have PHENOMINAL covers for this though.
Masterminds #1

https://www.ecgce.com/products/masterminds-1-cvr-a-stephen-thompson
Kaplan is quickly becoming a writer I appreciate more and more, so to see a team up with Thompson and a premise that screams "TV Show", I am adding this. I haven't had a chance to read it early or anything, but if executed well this could be a book that quickly pops up on a lot of radars. I have yet to see Kaplan not execute something well, and he has been just cruising upward since Kill All Immortals (also fantastic if you haven't read it).
Battle Beast #1 4th Print

https://www.ecgce.com/products/invincible-universe-battle-beast-1-4th-ptg
Not much to say about this, it's a 4th printing of an insanely popular series. If you are a speculator, you know that sometimes these become the hidden gems for collectors down the line. The cover art is also INSANE.
Spider-Girl #3

https://www.ecgce.com/products/spider-girl-3
Paper Doll is back, not a first appearance, but been seeing a lot of mention of this issue in some people I greatly respect in comics, as such it is worth mentioning. Also it is so cool to see such a unique villain come back in a series that has actually been wildly fun!
X-Men of Apocalypse #1

https://www.ecgce.com/products/x-men-of-apocalypse-alpha-1
Conflicted on this one, it's a great team, but unsure if this lands. There is just SO MUCH X-Men right now. The sides are torn on this, I am listing it because I am taking a stab at it as I want to give it a chance. If it lands, it has potential for sure. There are some INSANE covers for this as well, many of which have some spec whispers of their own.
